1800 hrs the gambling meeting was called to order by President Rothecker. Present were Dalbec, Rodgers, Sloan, Prail, Novak, F. Anderson, Huffman, and Banick. Not present was the gambling manager Don Bjorkman(excused). Dalbec gave the gambling report. (LG1004 available for review) Motion made by Novak to approve the bills for payment, 2nd by Rodgers passed. May budget. Motion to approve the budget by Anderson, 2nd by Huffman, passed. Requests St Paul School Patrol, $1000, Ataxia Benefit $1000. The Veterans Camp payment schedule to be discussed and approved. A bill from the IRS was presented for payment, $429.17. This will be given to Bjorkman for payment. Payroll will be changed to ADP Services pending approval. Motion to send the listed items on to the general membership meeting by Sloan, 2nd by Novak approved. Meeting closed at 1858hrs.

1900 hrs the general membership meeting was called to order by President Rothecker. Motion made to waive reading of last month's minutes, 2nd passed. Treasurer's report given by Dalbec. No outstanding large bills to pay. We currently have 317 members in lodge one with approximately 80 members who have not sent in their 2003 dues. Motion to accept the report, 2nd passed. Old business. Golf tournament set for May 27th. Committee still working on getting hole sponsors. The state lodge will donate $500 to purchase door prizes for the event. Gambling report, ADP motion to approve 2nd passed. Motion to accept the May budget, 2nd passed. Motion to pay the bills, 2nd passed. Motion to approve the School Patrol and Ataxia Benefit donations, 2nd passed. Motion by Anderson to give the Vets Camp four payments of $2,500. One payment in April and October 03, one payment each on April and October 04. Total $10,000. Motion 2nd by Huffman, passed. (If able to make payments sooner the lodge will attempt to do so).


New business, the national conference. Lodge 1 will have 5 delegates paid for by the State Lodge to attend with a $35 per day per Diem. Selected to go will be Vice President Sloan, Secretary Dalbec, Novak, and Brodin. President Rothecker will pick the final delegate. President Rothecker had prior commitments and unable to attend.
Next meeting is at Alary`s, May 14th. Motion to adjourn, 2nd passed.
