1800 hrs the gambling meeting was called to order by President Rothecker. Present were R. Dalbec, D. Bjorkman, R. Novak, F. Anderson, Huffman, and D. Collins. The gambling report was given by Bjorkman for the month of March. Between the two operations at DeMoris and Alary`s. (gambling report available for review) Motion made to accept the report, 2nd passed. Budget for May was presented. (LG1004 available for review). Total cost includes payroll and fees and gambling tax of $8,720.45. Motion made to accept the budget, 2nd passed. Lawful purposed expenditure requests. Cottage Grove mandatory city donation of $339.25, St Paul city tax $103.25, March of Dimes $1,000, the Brandy Dybedahl Benefit, $500, Karens Hope, $1000, Cerebral Palsy $1,300, and The Longest Day of Golf benefit, $1000. Lake Owasso, $100. Total of $5,342.50. Motion made to make the donations and pay the taxes, 2nd passed. Motion to pay bills totaling $138.91, 2nd passed. Motion to adjourn the gambling meeting, 2nd passed.

1907 hrs the general meeting was called to order. Vice President and Sgt at Arms not present. Motion made by Novak to waive reading of last months minutes, 2nd by Collins. Dalbec gave the Treasurers report. Also a possible outstanding bill to the IRS for $3200. Motion made to accept the report, 2nd passed. The checkbook and bank statement were available for review. Gambling report. Bjorkman reported meeting with the gambling control over review issues. We were cited and fined $400 for the violations. This was paid out of our general account. Motion made to accept the budget report and pay the fees and taxes, 2nd passed. Motion made to pay the requests made in the gambling committee, 2nd passed. New business, Rothecker made a request from our general fund for $250 for the St Paul Police ball team. Some discussion on this and it was tabled for lack of funds. Dalbec reminded the group of a possible IRS bill which would need all our available funds. Dalbec presented a letter our lodge received from a Kentucky officer who was having legal problems and requesting monetary help. He was not a member of the legal defense plan and now had numerous legal bills. Some discussion and the letter would be forwarded to the State Lodge for review. Old business, Dan Collins gave the golf report. We currently have 3 teams signed up. He will begin purchasing door prizes for the event. A request will be made to the state lodge for a donation for the event to purchase prizes. The State Lodge meeting will be held a Craguns and the following will attend. President Rothecker, Secretary Dalbec, Dan Collins, Rick Novak. Bjorkman and Rodgers will attend as officers of the State Lodge. Sickness and Distress, Dalbec informed the group of a members whose wife was battling cancer. Motion made to send flowers to show our support to her and her family during this illness. With no other business a motion was made to adjourn. Next meeting will be May 5th at O`Garas.
