Lodge 1 Meeting - 4/13/2005
Gabes By The Park
The gambling meeting was called to order by President Rothecker at 1800 hrs. Gambling manager Bjorkman gave his
report for March. Profit after taxes and state and local fees. Motion made to accept the report was made and 2nd,
passed. Budget for May estimated to be. (lg1004 available for review). Motion made to accept the budget, 2nd passed.
Requests for funding. Ben Doran foundation, $107, Down Syndrome Foundation $1500, St Paul School Patrol $1000,
Simley Soccer Boosters $500, St Paul Park Athletic Association $500, and a required payment for city tax, St Paul
$140.48. Motion made to accept the requests and approve sending them on to the general membership meeting made
and 2nd passed. Motion made to close the gambling meeting made and 2nd passed.
1900 hours the general membership meeting was called to order by President Rothecker. Chad Hagen from lodge 14
was present to speak to the membership concerning his running for state office, 2nd VP of the State Lodge. He was
given as much time as needed to address the membership and ask for this lodges support. After his presentation
the general meeting continued. A motion was made to waive reading of last months minutes, and 2nd passed. Treasurer
Dalbec gave the lodges financial report. We currently have in our account with of that which is golf dedicated,
total for general account . The bank book and bank statement were available for review. Motion made to accept the
report was made and 2nd, passed. The gambling report was then given to the membership. A motion was made to accept
the report and budget, 2nd passed. The funding requests were presented and a motion was made and 2nd to pay the
requests, passed. Old business, golf. Rothecker reported that we are still in need of door prizes and sponsors
for the event. Dalbec advised that over 300 requests were sent out and about 12 donations were received. A motion
was made to approve spending up to $800 from the general account for door prizes for the event. It was 2nd and
passed. The golf tournament is set for May 31, 1230 shotgun start at Oak Glen in Stillwater. Registration forms
can be found on our website, www.mnfop1.org. New business, the State Lodge is hosting its annual conference at
Craguns Resort April 17 -19. Dalbec would be going in place of the lodges trustee, and President Rothecker will
be attending along with three others from the lodge. With no further business a motion was made to adjourn, 2nd
passed. Next meeting will be held at Gabes by the Park on May 11, 2005.
