Gambling manager Bjorkman gave the gambling report to the general membership with the budget and requests for funding. A motion was made to accept the report, 2nd passed. A motion was made to approve the budget, 2nd passed. A motion was made to approve the request for funding, passed. New business, none. Old business, Rothecker reported on the National Convention which was attended by members of our lodge. The convention was held in New Orleans the first week of August. Our lodge was headquartered out of the Sheraton on Canal Street. The convention was at the New Orleans Convention Center. Bjorkman spoke to the membership on the LEMA Golf Tournament. LEMA was happy to have our support and showed it by having the FOP logo on the website and at the event. There was apparently some concern on another organizations part that the FOP was involved with LEMA and this may have caused some teams associated with the other organization to withdraw their teams from the event. Other than that everyone had a good time. Sickness and distress, nothing to report. Good of the order. With nothing further a motion was made to close the meeting and start the BBQ. Motion was made and 2nd passed.

Next meeting is set for September 14, 2005 1800 hrs at Gabes by the Park, St Paul.
