At 1806 hrs the gambling meeting was called to order by President Rothecker. Gambling manager Don Bjorkman gave his report for January, 2008. (lg1004 with cost breakdown available for review.) A motion was made to accept the report, 2nd passed. Discussion on requests for donations, St Paul Police Foundation for $150, Milwaukee Public Schools for $500, T.I.P. (Turn In Poachers) for $500. A motion was made then 2nd to approve the donations. Fees, City of St Paul for $111.98, and a 10% donation for a charity in St Paul. BSA Troop 174 for $50. A motion was made to approve the payments 2nd passed.
Discussion on changing the gambling meeting start time from 1800 hours to 1830 hours. A motion was made to change the start times for the gambling meeting, it was 2nd passed. With no further business a motion was made to adjourn the meeting, 2nd passed.

1900 hours the general membership meeting was called to order by President Rothecker. All lodge officers were present except for S. Bjorkman who was excused. No officers reports were made at this time. A motion was made to waive reading of last months minutes, 2nd passed. Secretary Dalbec reported that there are 62 members who have not yet paid for 2008, final notice will be going out to these members. Treasurers report was made by Dalbec. We have in our general account. No large bills are due at this time. The bankbook and bank statement were available for members review.
Charitable gambling report was made to the members present. A motion was made to approve the report, 2nd passed. The budget was presented and discussed, a motion was made to approve the budget, 2nd passed. The fees and request for donations were presented and voted on each separately, all were approved.
Rothecker advised the group on the status of lodge merchandise. The pancake breakfast fundraiser was discussed, with June 14 selected for the fundraiser. VP Sloan would speak to the IGH Applebee's manager to arrange the event.
Special Olympics Polar Bear Plunge at White Bear Lake raised over $80,000 dollars and was a huge success.
Golf Tournament, we are looking for door prizes for this event if any donations can be found. Rothecker is looking for volunteer help to arrange this event for the lodge.
State meeting this April 13-16, we will bring as many members/delegates as our lodge can afford. Please contact Lodge Secretary Dalbec if you would like to attend. The lodge will pay for the conference and hotel cost but each member will have to find there own way there.
New business, correspondence from State Lodge President Cayo concerning reasoning behind the selection process for sending delegates to national events. Members who contribute to lodge events and make attempt to attend lodge meetings and functions both local and state would be considered first. A motion was made to reimburse VP Sloan for a cost of $30 for a plant arrangement for a member in distress, 2nd passed.
Old business, the first annual FOP Shuttle bus event went over very well and close to 300 people attended.
Good of the order, good of welfare, a plant was sent to Lodge Sister Patty Niedzielski who's husband was recently hospitalized. He is now home and we wish him and Patty the best.

With no further business a motion was made to adjourn until 8130 hours on March 12 at Moose Lodge 1088, 2nd passed.
