Moose Lodge 1088, IGH
At 1830 hours the gambling meeting was called to order by J. Rothecker. The
gambling manager gave his report for January, 2009. Motion made to approve the
report, 2nd passed. The budget was presented (lg1004 available for review),
motion was made to approve the budget, 2nd passed. Requests for donations Simley
All Night Party $200, Milwaukee Public Schools for camp Side by Side $700, Best
Foundation $1000, Police Unity Tour $1500, BSA 174 for $136 (10% donation).
Motion made to approve and send on to general membership meeting made then 2nd
passed. City of St Paul fee of $145, motion made to approve and 2nd passed.
With no further business motion made by Novak, 2nd by Neuenfeldt to close, passed.,
General membership meeting opened at 1904 hours by President Rothecker. Treasurer
Bjorkman and VP Sloan excused absence. Motion made to waive reading of last
months minutes made and 2nd passed.
Gambling, gambling manager gave his report to the membership. The check book
and bank statement were available for review by members. Motion made to approve
the report and budget, 2nd passed. Requests for donations was made to the members
present. All items were approved line by line.
Treasurers report, none made as the treasurer was not present.
Merchandise sales, Rothecker wants to design challenge coins for sale to members.
Nothing else to report.
Pancake breakfast fundraiser brought in a little over , no exact figure available.
March will be the next fundraiser.
Golf, Rothecker needs help fundraising for the event. Contact him if you can
help.
Discussion on upcoming state meeting in April, elections for office holders
will be held at that meeting.
New business, a request to sponsor a softball (co-ed) team from SSP IGH area.
Motion made to donate $100 from general fund to help get it going, 2nd passed.
Old business, bus cruise between Alarys and the 10-29 club had over 600 people
in attendance.
Good of the order, none.
Good/Welfare, Brother Dan Ruettimann`s father passed away. Motion made to donate
$100 to a charity in his fathers name, 2nd passed.
Next meeting, March 11th, Moose Lodge 1088 IGH 1830 hours.
