J. Rothicker called the gambling meeting to order. Present were, Lutchen, Anderson, Rothicker and Novak. Lutchen gave the gambling report for December.. Budget for February. Motion made by Novak to accept the report and the budget, 2nd by Anderson. Passed. There was discussion on game shortages. DeMori's is still having shortages and Lutchen stated he was going to have the scale repaired and make a requirement that the employee's weigh games at the beginning and ending of each shift. This will help identify where the problem is. The scale will weigh tickets but the calibration is off when you add the ticket boxes. Lutchen reported that we had a compliance review by the City of St. Paul. He reported that it went well. Problems that were documented were on a game audited by the city, the unsold pull-tab count was off by nine tickets and the July payroll was dated wrong on the G-1. He has talked to LeClair and Assoc. to correct the problem. There was a presentation by Lynn Gannon, Special Agent, Dept of Housing and Urban Development Inspector General. The presentation concerned the Police Unity Tour Inc. She explained that the tour was a bicycle run from Virginia Beach, VA to Washington DC for Police Week, May 12 to 15, 2002. Money raised from this trio are Donated to the National Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial Fund. She is participating in this year's event and is hoping to raise $2500.00. She requested $1000.00 for us. The Police Unity Tour is a registered 501(c)3. We advised her that we would need a copy of the tax status prior to making any donation if a donation was approved. There were no other requests. A motion made to accept the request and send to on the to general membership meeting, motion passed. The meeting was adjourned at 1825 hrs.

Vice President Rothicker called the general membership meeting to order at 1826 hours. Motion made by Lutchen to waive the Secretaries reading of the minutes, 2nd by Novak, passed. Secretary / Treasurer Dalbec was excused. A treasurer's report was waived. Copies of the bank statement are made available to the members. Lutchen made a gambling report and budget request. Motion made by Novak, 2nd by Anderson to accept the report, passed. Motion made to accept and make the funding request made for $1,000.00 to the Police Unity Tour was made by Anderson and 2nd by Lutchen. Motion passed. Next meeting date will be February 13, Alary's. Motion made to adjourn the meeting, 2nd and passed.
