1800 hours the meeting was called to order by Rothecker. Gambling manager Bjorkman reported having some problems
at DeMoris with a shortage of $700. He will report at the next meeting what he has done to correct this. Gross
sales prizes State taxes, paid out. Motion to accept made and 2nd. Passed. Budget for July, $29,300. Motion to
accept, 2nd passed. Requests, Community United Church of Christ $500, for food shelves, American Cancer Society,
$500, American Cancer Society, $100 (for memorial) American Heart Association $100 (memorial). Motion to accept
and send on to general membership meeting, 2nd passed.
1900 hrs general membership meeting called to order by President Rothecker. Last months minutes were read and corrections
made. $500 had been approved for District 196 event, and UCP $1,150 had been approved at last months meeting. The
minutes will show these corrections. Motion made to accept the minutes with corrections, 2nd passed. . Bjorkman
gave gambling report. Motion to accept the Budget for July, $29,300 made by Huffman, 2nd by Anderson, passed. Motion
made to approve the Church of Christ for $500, 2nd passed. More discussion on Demoris was done. Motion to accept
the Am. Cancer Society for 500, passed. Motion to accept American Cancer Society for $100, 2nd passed. Motion to
accept the American Heart Association for $100, 2nd passed. Treasurers report was given, account balance. This
includes the money from the golf tournament, which still has to be paid out. Motion made to accept the report,
2nd passed. New Business; Golf, the President will send a letter to the Lawmen explaining that any future hole
sponsors they have for the FOP Tournament will be billed at $50 per sponsor, payable to Lodge 1. If that is not
acceptable there will not be any Lawmen sponsors on the tee boxes next year. Donations, discussion that the donation
request procedure should be changed. To encourage members to attend meetings it was discussed that anyone who puts
in a request must present it in person. More discussion on this matter at the next meeting. Upcoming State Lodge
conference was discussed set for June 22,23 in Alexandria. Meeting adjourned at 2005 hrs. Next meeting set for
July 9th at Alary`s.
