Lodge 1 Meeting
1810 hours the gambling meeting was called to order by J. Rothecker. Present were Rothecker, Dalbec, F. Anderson,
Huffman, Rodgers, Bjorkman, and Wasylik. Nick Wasylik gave the gambling report. Budget for December * (An itemized
addendum is available upon request. Motion to accept the report by Anderson, 2nd by Huffman, passed. Bjorkman advised
membership on the meeting he and Wyslick had with the state gambling board. Most problems have been corrected and
an adjustment payment of $466.70 paid to the state. This would come out of the general membership account. Motion
by Bjorkman and 2nd by Anderson to table all requests for donations. Passed. Motion to adjourn, 2nd passed. 1845
hours.
1905 hours the general membership meeting was called to order by Bjorkman. Motion made to waive reading of minutes,
2nd passed. Motion made to accept the gambling report and budget. 2nd, passed. Bjorkman reported meeting with the
Special Olympic Plunge Committee. Everything is set; the date is January 11, 2003 at the White Bear Lake VFW.
Shelly Lambert of Special Olympics presented the Lodge with an award for our past and continued support of Special
Olympics.
Treasurers report given by Dalbec. Bills due for Wilke Insurance on the gambling manager, and the amount of $466.70
had already been written out to Don Bjorkman to reimburse him for the payment to the state gambling board. Motion
made to accept the report, 2nd passed. Anderson advised the membership that Rick Novaks father passed away. Motion
made to give $100 to a charity of his family's choice, 2nd passed. Two members thanked the lodge for the past support
they received.
Anderson spoke on the Booya at Alary`s and discussion on the upcoming Christmas Party at Alary`s which will be
December 11. With no new business the election of officers was held. Currently the positions of 1st vice president
(Jeff Rothecker SPPD), 2nd vice president (Pat Sloan IGHPD) Secretary/Treasurer (Randy Dalbec IGHPD) and Sgt. at
Arms, (Daniel Rodgers Hennepin Co. Ret.). Motion made by Anderson for a white ballot on all the positions, 2nd
by Huffman, Passed.
Next meeting is December 11 at Alary`s. Christmas Party after the membership meeting.
