Lodge 1 Meeting

1800 hours the gambling meeting was called to order by President Rothecker. Gambling manager Bjorkman gave his report for October. A motion was made to accept the report, 2nd passed. The loss was accounted for by audit costs to the organization. The budget for December was presented (lg1004 available for review by members). A motion was made to approve the budget, 2nd passed. A motion was made to approve the payment of $117.33 in city of St Paul fee, 2nd passed. Requests for funding; a motion was made to approve $500 for the family of Officer Mike Bedard, who was killed in the line of duty with Mpls Parks Police. Motion was approved. Gambling manager position was discussed, manager Bjorkman will be moving out of state and his position will be open. Randy Dalbec expressed interest in taking the position for the lodge. This will result in the lodges Treasure position to be vacated by Dalbec. The change over will begin after the first of next year. With no further business the gambling meeting adjourned.
1906 hours the general lodge meeting was called to order by President Rothecker.
All lodge officers were present. A motion was made to waive reading of the secretaries
minutes, 2nd passed. The treasurer report was given. The bank statements were
available for review. Another account with was opened to maximize our ability
to gain interest on lodge funds. Account signers are the Treasurer, President
Rothecker, and VP Sloan. A motion was made to accept the report, 2nd passed.
Gambling report was given by Manager Bjorkman. A motion was made to accept the
report, 2nd passed. He then presented the budget to the membership. A motion
was made to accept the report, 2nd passed. The overall performance report was
made available for the members to review. Rothecker gave an update on the merchandise
program. It will be checked into to have a link for ordering Lodge One merchandise
directly from our website. Fundraiser, VP Sloan checked with the IGH Applebee’s
to have it there. Some January and February dates are available, Rothecker will
look into it.
Special Olympics, the WBL Plunge is set for January 12, the same location as
last year. Anyone interested can look it up at the SOMN website.
Golf Tournament, Rothecker has purchased some prizes and is looking at a website
just for that event.
Rothecker reported on the last state meeting he attended and reported on the
action the State Lodge took concerning several MN FOP members who went to Nashville
in an attempt to sway an election concerning Teamsters and the FOP. They went
supporting the Teamsters.
New business, none.

Good of the order, with no further business, a motion was made to adjourn until
1800 hours December 12 at Alarys in St Paul, 2nd passed.
