1800 the gambling meeting was called to order. Gambling Manager Lutchen gave the financial report for September.
Some discussion concerning the September report. Motion to accept, 2nd, passed. Requests for funding. Duluth Lodge
fundraiser, C.O.P.S., $1000, Huffman, $1000 for a food shelf drive-Friends in Need. Kids Park drop in childcare,
$200, Dalbec for Simley High School Band, $300 and Special Olympics 2nd half payment of $2500. All items except
for the Duluth Lodge to be sent on to the general membership meeting for approval. Total donations would be $5000.
Meeting adjourned at 1849 hrs.
General membership meeting called to order at 1900 hrs by President Bjorkman. Motion made and 2nd to waive the
reading of last months minutes. Passed. Treasurer Dalbec gave his report. Dues notices have gone out for 2002 dues.
Motion made and 2nd to accept the report. Passed. Lutchen gave the gambling report to the general membership along
with next month's budget. Some discussion was held concerning the report. Motion made by Rodgers, 2nd by Huffman
to accept the report and budget. Passed. Motion made by Novak, 2nd by Rothecker to give blanket approval for the
funding requests. Passed. Old business, Radke gave a report on upcoming fundraiser for the NY Police and Firefighters.
Volunteers are needed for the November 11 event, PLEASE CONTACT DAVE TITUS, TOM RADKE, OR DON BJORKMAN TO HELP.
No report given for the golf committee. New business, Huffman would not be able to attend the State conference.
Novak would take his place as a voting member.
Elections for lodge officers. President, Don Bjorkman, 1st vice President, Jeff Rothecker, 2nd Vice President,
Pat Sloan, Secretary/Treasurer, Randy Dalbec, Sgt. at Arms, Danielle Rodgers, Trustee, Jim Huffman.
Next meeting date is November 14, So St Paul VFW
