Gambling meeting called to order by Jeff Rothecker at 1810 hrs. Present were Wyslick, Dalbec, Rodgers, Novak, D. Collins, Bjorkman, and Huffman. The gambling manager gave the report for September. Budget for November. Motion made by Novak to accept the report, 2nd passed. Bjorkman reported on errors in our account with the State of MN involving taxes. Bjorkman will be going over the account with LeClaire. Discussion on looking into opening pull-tab booths in two other locations. Motion made by Dalbec to have gambling manager look into the new sites, 2nd, passed. Motion made to table all requests for donations until next meeting, 2nd passed. Motion made to have gambling pay for audit, 2nd passed. Motion made to pay $100 for postage costs, 2nd passed. Meeting adjourned at 1850 hours.

President Bjorkman called the general membership meeting to order at 1900 hrs. A motion was made and 2nd to waive the reading of last months minutes. Dalbec gave the treasures report. We currently have in our general account with no outstanding checks. Motion made to accept the report, 2nd. Passed. The gambling report was submitted for approval. Motion made by Huffman to accept the report and the budget, 2nd, passed. Motion made to pay a bond transfer bill in the amount of 100 dollars, 2nd passed. Old business. Dalbec gave a report on the upcoming Polar Bear Plunge (January 11, 2003 White Bear lake VFW). Report given on Lodge 1 Booya to be held on November 17, 2002 at Alary`s. New Business, Bjorkman reported that the Legal Defense Plan is going to cost $49 more after January 1. People should renew before November 1st to take advantage of the current rates. The national convention will be held in Providence RI August 3-9, 2003. Anyone who might be interested in going as a Lodge 1 delegate should contact Bjorkman. The State Lodge will pay cost. Elections will be held next month for the position of Secretary/Treasurer; anyone interested in the position should contact Bjorkman. Meeting adjourned at 2005 hours. Next meeting is set for November 13th at O`Garas, St Paul.
