Minnesota FOP Lodge 1 Meeting - 10/11/04

1800 hrs President Rothecker opened the gambling meeting. Gambling manager Bjorkman gave his report for September. Motion made to accept the report and budget, 2nd passed. (LG1004 available for review). Requests for funding, Cottage Grove 10%tax $785.43, Crossroads Elementary St Paul (Disabled students playground equipment) $5000, John Dennis cancer patient $250, Rayan Deveor ALS patient, $250, Judy Helget disabled person with large dental bill $1000. Motion made to approve and send on to general member ship meeting, made and 2nd, passed. With no further business motion made to adjourn the meeting, 2nd passed.

1900 hrs the general membership meeting was called to order by President Rothecker. There were no officers reports to be made, motion made to waive reading of last months minutes, 2nd passed. Secretary Treasurer Dalbec gave his report. We have in our account with about $300 in checks, which have been written. Check book and bank statement was available for review. Motion made and 2nd to accept the report, passed. Bjorkman gave the gambling report; motion made to accept and approve the budget, 2nd passed. Motion made and 2nd to approve the expenditures, passed. Old business, Special Olympics draft party is October 19. Novak and family will be attending for our lodge. Some discussion on the upcoming Law Enforcement Polar Bear Plunge, and discussion on the golf tournament. With no new business, motion made to adjourn, 2nd passed.
