George’s Restaurant, St. Paul
- -Due to Gambling Manager Bjorkman running late, the general membership meeting
was held first.
-1836 hours the General Membership meeting was called to order by President
Rothecker.
-Roll call of officers: all officers were present, except Secretary/Treasurer
Dalbec (excused).
-Secretary’s report: a motion was made to waive reading of last month’s
minutes; 2nd passed.
-Treasurer’s report: SAA Bjorkman read the report and it was accepted.
-Charitable Gambling: Nothing New to report.
-Merchandise: Nothing new to report.
-Pancake Breakfast: We are waiting for a response from Applebee’s IGH
to hold a fundraiser at their restaurant possibly in January. After we receive
a response from Applebee’s IGH, we will approach Applebee’s CG
to set up a second fundraiser. These fundraisers cost us no money to host.
We just have sell the tickets.
-Special Olympics: Ramsey County Deputy Mike Norstrem presented the updated
2008 logo for the Polar Bear Plunge. The WBL plunge day is January 12, 2008.
-Golf Tournament: One mailing has been sent out already for door prize/raffle
solicitations. Still looking for ideas for raffles and door prizes. If anyone
has any suggestions, please contact President Rothecker. President Rothecker
also is asking for volunteers to help with getting hole sponsors and finding
quality door prizes. If anyone wants to help, please contact President Rothecker.
-New Business: None reported
-Old Business: None reported
-Good of the Order: Lodge 23 was chartered last week. Lodge 23 is located
in Morris, MN.
-Good / Welfare: None Reported
-The General Membership meeting was adjourned @ 1911 hours.

- -The Lodge 1 Gambling Board was called to order by President Rothecker @
1942 hours.
-Manager Report: Gambling Manager gave his report for September 2007. A motion
was made to approve the report; 2nd, passed.
-$1,867.89 deposited in September. 2 new pulltab sellers were hired. The booth
is now open 5 nights a week.
-The Moose’s opening is dependent on the weather. Only the paving is
left.
-The audit to the State was mailed on September 14, 2007. The bill for the
audit was $3650. This bill has been paid. There will be no audit in 2008.
-Manager Budget: Gambling Manager submitted his budget for September 2007.
A motion was made to approve the budget, 2nd, passed.
-Donation Requests: a donation will be made to the Boy Scouts.
-Other Gambling Related News: None
-With no further gambling business, a motion was made to adjourn the Lodge
1 Gambling Board meeting; 2nd, passed.
-At 2000 hours, a motion was made to adjourn until our next meeting: November
10th , George’s Restaurant in St. Paul, 1800 hours, 2nd, passed.
