1800 hours the gambling meeting was called to order by President Rothecker. Gambling manager Bjorkman gave the gambling report for August. Motion made to accept the report was made and 2nd, passed. Budget for October is set . LG1004 available for review. Motion made to accept the budget was made and 2nd, passed. Requests. $1000 to the Shawn Silvera family. He is the Lino Lakes officer who was killed on duty. $1000 for the Emily Smith benefit, and Park Wrestling for $100. Motion made to pay the donations was made and 2nd passed. With no further business for gambling motion was made to adjourn, 2nd passed.

1900 hours the general membership meeting was called to order. No officers reports at this time. Motion was made to waive reading of last months minutes, 2nd passed. Secretary Dalbec gave the treasurers report. We currently have in our account. We have one large bill to be paid for our fidelity bond, cost is $308. The bond insures for covered losses caused by fraudulent or dishonest acts of an employee against the FOP Lodge. Motion made to pay the amount, 2nd passed. Dalbec also reported that the 2006 renewal notices will be going out. National dues are due by November 1st. Dalbec also will be adding a request to the members to add another $5 for Katrina relief. The money would go directly to the National Lodges relief fund for our Brothers and Sisters to help them recover. Motion was made to double the amount from gambling when the final result of the fundraiser is known, 2nd passed. So far we have received $170 for the fund from renewing members. Motion was made to accept the report, 2nd passed. The checkbook and bank statement were available for review. Gambling manager Bjorkman gave his report to the membership. Motion was made to approve the report, 2nd passed. Motion was made to approve the budget. 2nd passed. A motion was made to approve the charitable requests, 2nd passed. Old business, Dalbec reported that at the last meeting and the BBQ we had 14 new members sign up with lodge 1. Everyone who attended appeared to have a good time. It was held outside next to Alary`s. Polar Bear Plunge, it will be held January 21 at the White Bear Lake VFW. Further information will be coming on that. Golf, the annual golf tournament will continue to be held at Oak Glen in Stillwater the day after Memorial Day. New business, Bjorkman brought up our continuing the tradition of helping the Salvation Army Kettle drive this holiday season. We would work a four hour shift. He will have more information on that at the next meeting. Sickness and distress. None to report. With no more business to report a motion was made to adjourn the meeting, 2nd passed.
